This week’s post is by Rafaela Golding and Devora Lawrence:
On Tuesday the second of May, it was Yom Ha’Atzmaut and we did special activities. Some of the special activities were Israeli dancing, making keyrings with GIFT, writing poems about Israel, making collages of pictures of Israel and for some years, making t-shirts or cupcakes. Of course, ending with the big highlight of everyone’s Yom Ha’Atzmaut, the talent show!
The talent show is when all students get to show their talent – about Yom Ha’Atzmaut in a variety of ways. Some of these varieties include animations, singing, drawing or playing an instrument. Not only that, but we had delicious lunch to match. We had Israeli salad with falafel and a side of chips. It was an amazing lunch for an amazing day. We are very thankful to Mr Kett and Mrs Gross for this special day!
