Last week Key Stage 2 were privileged to hear Rabbi Hammer talk about how we can all act with Kiddush Hashem between ourselves and to the wider world, including during Tefilla each day. We wish Mazal Tov to Year 1 on receiving their new siddurim at their wonderful Chagigat Siddur. They are so excited to now have their own siddur to use daily!
Chol Hamoed Succot was fantastic, filled with Hallel, outings and activities. One day we partnered with The Yoni Jesner Foundation. The theme of ‘Every Human Being is Beautiful’. Every class talked about how beauty comes from within and thought about words to describe their internal characteristics, not their external ones. The children created beautiful self-portraits with these words, which we are proud to display in the school foyer, along with our Student Council’s recent SMART statement. Every class celebrated Lag Ba’Omer last month with special outings – including treetop adventures at Go Ape!
After finishing their SATs tests, Year 6 went on a residential trip to Kingswood activity centre, where they worked in teams, overcame some fears and had fantastic new experiences, getting them ready for life beyond Sacks Morasha. They continue their full programme of special activities, trips and communal work in the coming month, as well as preparing for their production of ‘Fiddler on the Roof’!
