We are currently updating our world map for pupils that come from other countries. If you were born in another country or speak another language at home, please can you send a photo of your children in with a short blurb about your country, how long you were there for, your likes and dislikes and whether you speak another language.
Barnet Cross Country Championships
Today Sacks Morasha competed in the Barnet Cross Country Championships. The whole team competed brilliantly and cheered each other on. A special mention goes to Dina Silverman, who won the Year 4 girls race. This is a fantastic achievement as there were over 70 children competing from many different Barnet schools.
Thank you to Nic Abery and Simon Marks for all of their help and encouragement. Thanks also to Annabel Ries for driving to and from the event.
Shofar Workshop
Today, children in Year 5 enjoyed the Shofarim workshop, run by Tzivos Hashem. This morning’s workshop was fantastic. The children not only learnt about Shofarim but were able to make their own to take home too.
Tzivos Hashem bring their workshops to us throughout the academic year, covering various topics, and they are always really engaging and enjoyable to participate in.
Chief Rabbi Mirvis School Visit
Next week we will be welcoming Chief Rabbi Mirvis to school for Kabbalat Shabbat. We are really looking forward to his visit and his address to the children.
If any children would like to prepare a card or picture for him, we would gladly pass these on to him next week. Please hand these in to the school office.
Year 6 Oliver Show
Year 6 performed in our first end of year show. They amazed the audience with their professionalism and drama skills.
