This week’s post is by Erin Wikler, Olivia Onona, Maya Levy and Ellie Marantz:
On Sunday 23rd April, we took part in a Triathlon at Royal Russel School sponsored by Human Race. We swam four lengths; we cycled 100 metres and ran 750 metres. The Triathlon was for a charity called Restless Development which supports children in need. The teams involved four competitors and thankfully, we all managed to cross the finish line.
Olivia from team ROME, involving Elisheva, Yehuda and Ari said: “We all thought this was a great and fun way to support the restless development as we all joined in with fundraising and participating!”
Maya from team STAMINA, involving Jasmine, Shani and Rafael said: “We all had a great day participating as we all became happier and healthier!”
Erin and Ellie from team BMW4 involving Jonah and Aron B said: “Human race have done a great job with organising a children’s triathlon because it helps them become healthier, fitter and progress their team work!”
Thank you to the organisers of this enjoyable Triathlon. We all had great fun, even if we didn’t win….It’s not always about winning, it’s about participating!!!
