Sacks Morasha is a welcoming modern orthodox Jewish primary school in Finchley, North London
Passionate about educational excellence, we seek and achieve high standards in both secular and Jewish studies (Limmudei Kodesh). We are committed to our children reaching their potential in an atmosphere that encourages engagement with Torah values, Ivrit and the state of Israel. Our name honours Lord Sacks, the former Chief Rabbi, and 'Morasha' means legacy; the school aims to be a source of immense pride to the community, passing on Jewish values as a living inheritance to our children. Since opening in 2008, our school has built an excellent reputation and received an impressive Ofsted assessment in both 2009 and 2014, with outstanding grades for leadership, management and pupil behaviour. We work in partnership with parents, pupils, their extended families and the wider community to develop our children into responsible and committed members of the Jewish community. We teach children to be aware of other cultures and to understand British values, nurturing and encouraging our pupils to become tolerant and respectful global citizens.
As from 1st March 2019, we are proud to announce we became part of JCAT - the first Jewish Multi-Academy Trust (MAT). Wolfson Hillel, Moriah, Rimon and Hertsmere are also part of JCAT.
