Your child can begin Reception the September after their fourth birthday. The application period for places in September 2024 begins in September 2023 and closes in January 2024.
In order to apply for a Reception Place for September 2024, you must complete the Common Application Form (CAF) through your local authority using the e-admissions website.
In order to qualify for a priority place, you will also need to complete the Supplementary Information Form (SIF) which can be found on our website under the appropriate year for entry. This form needs to be returned to the school by the admissions deadline in January.
After offering places to siblings of current Sacks Morasha pupils and any other children who may qualify for a priority place (such as looked-after children and those who have Education and Health Care Plans), we offer the remaining places to children in order of priority as outlined in our admissions policy.
For 2024/5 onwards 3 points will be needed to be included in the top priority group. These can be collected by synagogue visits, volunteering and learning.
If there are more applicants who qualify for priority places than there are spaces, the applicants will be then ranked based on a lottery system within each category. Please note that every applicant can apply to our school regardless of religious practice.
