
Football came home for Sacks Morasha
Sacks Morasha A team were the winners of the Maccabi GB inter school football tournament on Wednesday afternoon. The tournament which took place at Trent Park included teams from Jewish primary schools across North West London and Hertfordshire. Sacks Morasha beat Alma Primary school in the final to take home the trophy. Year 6 teacher Mrs Slavin who came to support said ‘This was the first time the school has won the tournament and we are so proud of both the A and B teams. We are equally proud of their positive attitude and fair sportsmanship too.’

Yom Haatzmaut Extravaganza 2022
Sacks Morasha were delighted to be able to throw their annual Yom Haatzmaut Extravaganza this year. The atmosphere was overflowing with games including a lucky dip, penalty shoot out and of course pie face with the teachers as willing volunteers. There was also lots of bouncing around on inflatable and a delicious Barbecue! It was joyous to see children’s faces light up with excitement as they filled out into the playground.
Yom HaShoah commemoration 2022
Sacks Morasha pupils were privileged to be included in the Yom HaShoah commemoration event on Wednesday night. The first in-person event for Holocaust Memorial with survivors since the start of the pandemic. Pupils from their year 5 class, along with Deputy Head and Head of Kodesh Justin Kett sang together with the Shabbaton choir and 3 other Jewish Primary schools. Justin Kett said:
‘Our participation this evening was crucial in giving the children who participated, and those watching at home, the experience of zachor, of remembering the past to commit to a better future.’
